Few weeks ago, in the company of Empire Dance Adventures; introduced to me by a good friend who is also apparently called “Ingred,” we made our way to Lake Elementaita, Naivasha region for a hike at the famous Sleeping Warrior Hills.
Located adjacent to Lake Elementaita, and approximately 140 Km from Nairobi, the sleeping warrior hill is a mimic of a sleeping Maasai Warrior and noticeably the peak of the summit resembles the warrior’s nose from a distance. The locals associate the hill with a Maasai Oloibon who died while sleeping long time ago.
Memories from the hike were captured below because life is full of happy moments! ” Travelling; it leaves you speechless and turns you into a storyteller 🙂 “
I am a storyteller … Enjoy the video!
Here’s to me hoping that this post has inspired or motivated one (if not many) of you to get off the couch and plan an outdoor adventure i.e
- Rock Climbing
- Horse Riding (Click Here to read more about my horse riding experience! Let me know in the comment section if you would love for me to leave some horse riding school recommendations within Nairobi City.)
Happy Travelling Folks!
